In support of all the creators and dreamers looking for their first next step, The Fieldstone Community Foundation INC. is proud to be accepting scholarship applications through June 15, 2024.
The lasting impact of a scholarship extends far beyond a single financial gift.
For some, it's confirmation of talent. For others, it's a nudge in the right direction. And for others still, it's a lifeline.
Scholarship Details:
The Fieldstone Scholarship in honor of Donna Watson offers a one-time award up to $5,000, that can be used for undergraduate or graduate expenses in the field of business or marketing including but not limited to tuition, room and board, housing, books, and educational-related travel expenses. We recognize that pursuing higher education can be financially challenging. This scholarship aims to alleviate some of that burden and our program prioritizes students with genuine financial need.

Only complete packets will be reviewed.
Please provide:
Full Name
Contact Information (phone, email, mailing address)
Current School (name and address)
A documented history of volunteering or community engagement
A minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred but not required)
Copy of current transcripts: high school or college
Proof of undergraduate or graduate school enrollment (acceptance letter)
Two letters of recommendation:
Educator, Coach, Volunteer Supervisor, Employer
Non-family
A short essay (500-1,000 words) answering the following questions:
What does your community mean to you and how has it positively impacted you?
How do you envision contributing to your community?
Note: Applicants should be within the territory Fieldstone covers and cannot be directly related to Fieldstone employees or sales consultants.
About Donna:
As part of a lifelong commitment to community service, Fieldstone founder and owner Donna Watson has supported efforts to address global hunger, homelessness, racial injustice, AIDS research, women’s rights, medical research, the arts and more. From providing educational guidance to at-risk teens, to serving on a special Chamber of Commerce board offering valuable advice, to utilizing her specialty retail expertise and platform as a voice for the greater good, Donna's enduring commitment to others mirrors a belief in the transformative potential of collective action, embodying a spirit of altruism that defines her journey. To celebrate Donna's generous and fierce commitment to others, Fieldstone's consultants established The Fieldstone Scholarship as a capstone gift in 2023 during Fieldstone's 30th Anniversary.
